Why Choose Us?

At Lion Academy, we believe every child is a gift from God. Our curriculum integrates biblical values, simple prayers, and stories of faith into our daily routine. We focus on teaching love, joy, peace, and kindness—to help children grow not just in knowledge, but in character and grace.

We intentionally keep our class sizes small to ensure your child receives the focused, individual attention they deserve. Low student-to-teacher ratios allow our educators to truly understand your child’s unique learning style, providing a nurturing environment where no one is just a number and every milestone is celebrated.

Our parent-teacher relationships are the cornerstone of our children's academic and personal development. We foster open communication, shared goals, and a sense of belonging. We invite our parents to be partners in the learning journey, believing that a strong connection between home and school is what allows children to flourish.

Our Prices range from $1,400 a month to as little as $330 a month. Just as we individualize our program for our children, we can individualize pricing for parents, depending on the age of child and amount of childcare needed. Lion Academy accepts State Child Care Assistance through DWS to help make quality care accessible.

Of Experience

Parent
At Lion Academy, we believe that early childhood education plays a crucial role in a child's development. Our Christian philosophy guides our approach to nurturing young minds and hearts. We strive to create a loving and supportive environment where children can learn about God's love and develop a strong moral foundation.
Our approach emphasizes:
By combining a Christian worldview with a high-quality early childhood education, Lion Academy aims to provide a holistic and nurturing experience for children and their families.
We kindly ask that you send your child with a nap-mat (or their favorite blanket, and a sheet if you don't have one of these) and a snuggly to help them feel comfortable during naptime. Please also ensure that your child has a water bottle with water only in it and a lunchbox with their meals for lunch time.
We appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that your child has everything they need for a successful and comfortable day at school. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
We accept state-funding; or child-care financial assistance. We also accept the Child Care and Development Fund, (CCDF) for Native American families. We offer discounted rates often during the year with promotions
Providing our early and late pick-up and drop-off times, (7 AM to 6 PM) is a way we ensure convenience and flexibility for our amazing parents! Our teachers are parents as well and need to care for their own families at home. Please CALL the center if you know you will be a few minutes late picking up your child(ren). You will be charged $5.00 for the first minute and $1.00 for each additional minute your child(ren) is in the center beyond the 6:00 pm closing time. The same policy is in place for pre-school pick-up at 12:00 pm before closing to announce you will be late. Excessive tardiness may result in termination of services.
When you've scheduled a tour with us, we will sit down with you and discuss your childcare needs, and provide you with Lion Academy's pamphlet, a quality childcare checklist, a health assessment, and an application to fill out at home and bring back if you choose to enroll your child. Once you've brought back your application, we will enter your child(ren) into our ProCare system, along with parent information, their health information (allergies, health conditions we should be aware of, or sensitivities) and emergency contacts. We will then set an enrollment date (whether you're on a wait list or not) and your child will be set!
Absolutely everyone! Here at Lion Academy, we welcome children from all backgrounds and faiths. Our goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all children. We believe every child is unique and deserves to feel valued and included. Our daycare is committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment where children from all backgrounds can learn, grow, and thrive. We celebrate the diversity of our community. Our purpose is to foster a sense of belonging and acceptance among our children.
Parents often have preferences for their child's food, and we believe that allowing parents to provide lunch gives them more control over their child's diet. You know what your child eats best! Studies show that children who are offered school lunches throw more than half of their lunch away. In order not to waste food and ensure your child eats what he/she will enjoy, we ask that all parents send a lunch.
Healthy eating is essential for children's growth and development, and we want to provide them with healthy snacks. Our snacks will be carefully selected to ensure they are both delicious and beneficial for your child's health.
We require at least 30 days notice if you wish to discontinue your child's enrollment with Lion Academy. Failure to give 30 days' notice will result in a full month's tuition charge regardless.
